If you’ve been carrying a lot lately, you don’t have to carry it alone.

Therapy is a space to slow down, untangle what’s been weighing on you, and build tools that make daily life feel more manageable. We move at your pace.

What to expect with telehealth

You don’t need special equipment. Just a private space, a stable internet connection, and a device with a camera.

1) Reach out

Send a message through the contact page. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you do.

2) We’ll guide the next step

We’ll talk about what you’re looking for and whether this feels like a good fit. If not, you won’t be left hanging.

3) Meet securely online

Sessions are conducted through a secure telehealth platform so you can focus on the work, not the logistics.

Not sure if telehealth will work for you? That’s okay. Reach out and we’ll talk it through.

What people often come in for

You don’t need the perfect words. If something feels heavy, that’s reason enough to reach out.

Anxiety & Stress

Learn tools to calm overwhelm, reduce worry loops, and feel more grounded in your day.

Trauma & Healing

Process difficult experiences with pacing, support, and a focus on safety and stability.

Relationships & Boundaries

Strengthen communication, reduce conflict, and build healthier patterns of connection.

Portrait of Queena Mbir

Meet Queena

Hi, I’m Queena Mbir. I wasn’t born a social worker, and I haven’t lived a perfect life. I grew up in poverty and faced real obstacles, but I decided early on that those circumstances were not my assignment. I live in a world as challenging and nuanced as yours, and I believe we are all doing our best to survive this crazy life together.

I am a mother first (and a single one at that) to a young adult daughter, and I bring that lived understanding into the work I do. I am also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA) with over 20 years of experience caring for people across healthcare and community settings.

My goal is simple: to meet you where you are and help you move toward the life you want. We’ll work collaboratively, at a pace that feels safe and steady. And if I’m not the right fit, I’ll do my best to help you find someone who is.

In my best Iyanla Vanzant voice: “Stay in peace, not in pieces.”

No-pressure first step

If you’re unsure where to start, that’s completely okay. You can reach out with a simple message and we’ll go from there.

And if I’m not the best fit for what you need, I’ll do my best to help you find someone who is.
